Although the book is primarily for ukulele with a low G string fourth string on it, there are several pieces to enjoy if you like to keep a high G string on your ukulele. The chords for vocal accompaniment are fingered the same way regardless of tuning. The melodies used in these arrangements are drawn from various Jewish traditions, secular and sacred, and are among the most popular of tunes. Included are Sephardic and eastern European folk tunes, Hasidic and Klezmer tunes, and liturgical songs.

The two books above contain the same pieces of music, but in different keys, so that each is comfortable for the particular ukulele it is written for.
Traditional Celtic songs and instrumentals from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Cornwall arranged for low G ukulele. These are easy and easy-intermediate fingerstyle (or classical style) arrangements presented in both standard notation and tablature.
Most of these pieces are in a two-voice texture. That is, they include a bass line to be played with the thumb while the other fingers play the melody. In the pieces presented in a one-voice texture, chords are provided for an optional accompaniment by another ukulele or guitar. In addition to the melody and chords, lyrics are included for two songs. There is also a fingerstyle duet at the end of the book in which both ukuleles have an interesting part to play.
A brief music theory lesson is included regarding the modes one finds in Celtic music. In addition, there is a helpful Glossary and Notation Guide and Chord Charts for the most frequently used chords on ukulele.
